Going by the latest spy photos and leaked information, this bike is receiving some high-end feature upgrades you don’t commonly find in this class. It’s rumored to go on sale very soon, perhaps as early as tomorrow, August 19, 2025.
One of the major plusses is the inclusion of cruise control. That’s correct – cruise control on a 125cc motorcycle! It makes it the first commuter in its segment to feature this. Just imagine cruising on freeways without having to keep holding the throttle. The control switch is on the right-hand switchgear, just below the ignition button, and it may even have a speed limiter for safer commuting. This would be served by an electronic throttle unit, an upgrade from the conventional cables.
The New TFT Screen and Other Tech Goodies
Farewell, old analog gauges; the Glamour X is receiving a full digital color TFT instrument cluster. This display appears contemporary and is comparable to what’s found on more expensive Hero offerings such as the Karizma XMR. It displays all the basics: speed, fuel, gear position, and more. As seen from the leaked photos, the Glamour X retains the commuter look that’s familiar but also incorporates some glamour. All lighting is LED today – headlamps, tail lamps, and turn signals – to ensure improved visibility and a touch of class.
On the practical front, it features alloy wheels, front disc brake for improved braking power, and telescopic front suspension for a smoother ride. The chassis is of underbone type, making it light and maneuverable in urban traffic. It also features an engine kill-switch and new switchgear on the left-hand side to manage the TFT screen menus.
Under the Hood: Engine and Performance
No big surprises here – the Glamour X retains the time-tested 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It chugs out around 10.39 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque, and comes with a 5-speed gearbox.
